Role: Temporary Digital Marketing Executive-  Sheffield  

Salary:  £27,000K - £33,000K per annum

Hours: 9am- 5pm Monday- Friday (flexibility)

Position Overview:

The Digital Marketing Executive (Interim) will provide immediate, hands-on support to the Digital team by independently building and optimising HubSpot landing pages and contributing to the execution of digital marketing activity across key channels. This role plays a vital part in delivering the Digital First Enablement Plan, supporting the transition of key capabilities in-house, reducing reliance on external agencies, and providing cover for current gaps in team capacity during this period of structural development.

Responsibilities:

  • HubSpot & Website Build Support: Build, edit, and optimise HubSpot landing pages and campaign pages, with focus on agility, responsiveness, and conversion goals.
  • Web Content Writing: Write clear, engaging copy for web pages, ads, and campaign emails with a focus on conversion and digital best practice.
  • Digital Channel Support: Provide hands-on support for paid ads, organic content, and social campaigns, including basic reporting and agency collaboration.
  • Campaign Implementation: Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns across SEO, SEM, PPC, and paid social.
  • SEO Support: Conduct keyword research and manage basic on-page SEO tasks.
  • Performance Tracking: Use tools such as Google Analytics and HubSpot dashboards to monitor and report on campaign performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with campaigns, CRO, content, design, and product teams to align on campaign goals and execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on digital trends, tools, and opportunities to optimise execution.

Experience:

  • Proven ability to build and publish HubSpot pages independently (required).
  • Strong familiarity with CMS platforms and marketing web workflows (required).
  • 1+ year experience in digital marketing support roles, ideally across SEO and or Paid.

Skills and Competencies:

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and paid social.
  • Proficiency with digital tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, and SEMrush.
  • Ability to build HubSpot landing pages and assist with paid search workflows.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to track, report, and optimise performance based on insights.
  • Experience using website analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Hotjar).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent writing skills for web, campaign, and email content.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, or 2 years in a similar role.

Desirable:

  • Certifications in SEO, HubSpot, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), or Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio)
