We are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career and gain hands-on experience within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and assemblies
- Produce 2D and 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
- Support senior engineers across ongoing projects and new product development
- Liaise with production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Contribute to documentation, reports, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)
- Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn within an engineering environment
