The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in mechanical engineering/machining and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules. Carryout day to day bench fitting activities using a variety of manual machines, refurbishment of worn parts on rotary valves, & the manufacture of extrusion die & belts. Ability to read engineering drawings. Involvement in multi-site projects. Maintain central workshop standard & practices.

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. Working on extrusion machines, gearboxes, belts, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves and pumps.
