Are you a hands-on Installation or Service Engineer tired of long hours, national travel, and repetitive work? Would you prefer a local patch, regular hours, and a role that actually makes a difference to people's daily lives?

We're working with a well established business that specialises in the installation, service, and maintenance of Mobility and Access equipment used in private homes, care settings, and healthcare environments.

They're looking to grow their team in the Sheffield area with either:

A skilled engineer who already has experience with products like stairlifts, patient hoists, or vertical lifts,

OR

A service engineer from a related sector with strong transferable mechanical/electrical skills, who's keen to learn the ropes in this rewarding industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Installing and maintaining mobility/access equipment such as stairlifts, hoists, vertical lifts, and other assistive living aids.
  • Providing servicing and emergency call-out support (1-in-7 rota approx., with additional standby/callout pay).
  • Working in a range of environments from private residences to care homes and hospitals.
  • Developing broad product knowledge through hands-on experience and manufacturer training.

What You'll Get:

  • 30,000 - 36,000 starting salary (depending on experience).

  • Mon-Fri schedule with a finish time of 4:50pm.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with mobility equipment is ideal (hoists, stairlifts, vertical lifts etc).
  • OR a background in similar technical service/installation roles (white goods, domestic maintenance, access control, healthcare equipment etc.).
  • A clean UK driving licence.
  • Someone practical, reliable, and customer-focused, with a genuine desire to help others.
  • This is a field-based role working within a 15-20 mile radius of Sheffield, so please only apply if you're local to the area or can reliably commute.
