About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Team Leader to lead our clients maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of the electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience with PLC systems, and a solid background in industrial electrical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team, ensuring high standards of safety and performance.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems and machinery including CAPEX projects.
• Programme, diagnose and repair faults on PLC-controlled equipment
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong working experience programming & fault finding of PLC systems.
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, 18th Edition).
• Experience in managing or supervising a maintenance team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools.
