Contract: Annualised Hours | Rotating Shifts | Full-Time
Salary: £45,000 + Shift Premiums | OTE £47,000–£48,000
About the Role
Join a dynamic engineering team as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical background. You’ll be part of a five-person shift team, supporting 24/7 operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production running smoothly through proactive maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of production equipment
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime
- Maintain accurate records using a computerised maintenance system
- Support engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability and performance
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 apprenticeship (multi-skilled or mechanical with electrical qualifications preferred)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) desirable
Working Hours
Peak Season (Jan–Jun): Rotating shifts (6AM–2PM / 2PM–10PM / 10PM–6AM), occasional weekends
Off-Peak (Jul–Dec): Mainly early and late shifts, occasional weekend work
- Base Salary: £45,000
- Night Shift Premium: +25%
- Weekend Premium: +35%
- On-Target Earnings: £47,000–£48,000
