Key Stage 2 Teacher - Sheffield - Immediate Start - £150 to £180 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher ready to inspire and engage young minds? We are recruiting for a small independent school in Sheffield with a merged class of Year 5 and 6 pupils, offering a temporary position with the potential to become permanent.
This role is to start immediately, with the opportunity to continue into the new academic year in September. With a small class of around 18 pupils, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on each child's learning journey.

Your Role as a Key Stage 2 Teacher:
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across the Year 5 and 6 curriculum
- Support and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential
- Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
- Collaborate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff
- Take part in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly in mixed-age or small class settings
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a focused learning environment
- A passion for education and training, supporting pupil development and academic progress
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service, or a willingness to apply for one
