Are you a passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher ready to inspire and engage young minds? We are recruiting for a small independent school in Sheffield with a merged class of Year 5 and 6 pupils, offering a temporary position with the potential to become permanent.

This role is to start immediately, with the opportunity to continue into the new academic year in September. With a small class of around 18 pupils, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on each child's learning journey.

Your Role as a Key Stage 2 Teacher:

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across the Year 5 and 6 curriculum
  • Support and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential
  • Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
  • Collaborate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff
  • Take part in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly in mixed-age or small class settings
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a focused learning environment
  • A passion for education and training, supporting pupil development and academic progress
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
