Description
- Manage and oversee pharmaceutical procurement operations.
- Implement strategies for efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory guidelines related to pharmaceutical purchases.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms.
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures.
- Monitor market trends and make recommendations for procurement strategies.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast supply needs.
- Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
Profile
A successful Category Manager - Healthcare Services & Pharmacy should have:
- An educational background in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement, preferably within the public sector.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry regulations.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
