Quality Control Inspector - Sheffield

14.00 per hour

Stafforce Recruitment is currently recruiting a Quality Control Inspector on behalf of a global leader in critical infrastructure solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that plays a vital role in keeping essential services powered, connected and operational worldwide.



The Role

Based within the workshop environment, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment produced meets strict quality, engineering and customer standards prior to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out workshop quality control activities to ensure all equipment is fully functional and compliant
  • Completing goods-in inspections
  • Creating, printing and binding equipment manuals
  • Performing, recording and signing off pre-test inspections on completed assemblies in the wire shop
  • Completing final post-test inspections, including photographic build records
  • Carrying out final checks, cleaning and sign-off prior to packing and dispatch


The Candidate

  • Minimum of A Levels in Design Technology, Maths or Physics or equivalent BTEC qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels
  • Organised, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Competent with Microsoft Office applications
