Fabricator / Tig Welder

My client in the Attercliffe area looking for x 2 Fabricators.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in TIG welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to work with different materials, including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, copper and brass.

You will be working on 100% bespoke products.

Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on various metal components to meet specifications.
Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process, ensuring timely resolution.

Qualifications
Proven experience in metal fabrication, including proficiency in TIG welding.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Familiarity with fabrication techniques involving sheet metal is preferred.
Competence in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
