Assistant Quantity Surveyor | Sheffield | Construction

We are working with a reputable and growing privately owned contractor to hire an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a salary position in Sheffield, South Yorkshire area. The successful candidate will be working on a variety of projects with public sector and private sector clients

You will benefit from working in a personable environment, with a personable team on a daily basis. Continuously developing your skill-set whilst managing elements of the commercial process independently over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycles.
  • Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:
