An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Capital Project Manager/Surveyor
This role will be on a temporary basis for a minimum of 13 weeks, and then has the potential to go permanent.
Job title: Capital Project Manager/Surveyor
Rate: £(Apply online only) per day
Experience:
Lead delivery of capital projects (condition works, refurbishments, compliance upgrades) across sites.
Act as technical lead on design reviews, specifications, and contractor proposals.
Approve construction documentation, ensuring compliance with building regulations, CDM, fire safety, and safeguarding.
Manage contractors and consultants on-site, ensuring quality, compliance, and issue resolution.
Ensure projects meet funding conditions and comply with procurement and legislative requirements.
Conduct condition surveys and feasibility studies to inform project planning and delivery.
Support procurement by specifying and tendering capital works in line with public sector rules.
Maintain accurate project records and reporting for internal stakeholders and funding bodies.
Contribute to estate planning by informing the annual investment plan with condition and risk data.
Provide expert advice to school leaders and site teams on building performance, compliance, and lifecycle planning.
