Our client is a well-established Residential Groundworks Contractor specialising in infrastructure civils, earthworks, and plot groundworks.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full responsibility for the commercial management of groundwork projects across the North East. From procurement through to final account, you'll ensure projects deliver optimum value while maintaining quality and compliance.

We're seeking candidates with strong commercial, negotiation, and reporting skills. Proven experience in groundworks, ideally with a residential focus, is highly desirable, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage cash flow and produce commercial reports (CVRs)

Oversee subcontractor procurement and monitor performance

Control project costs, budgets, and variations

Ensure full contractual and commercial compliance

Travel between sites and the office as needed
