What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing lessons that challenge and inspire young learners.
• Encouraging a love for reading, writing, and exploring texts.
• Monitoring student progress and supporting their development.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues on planning and curriculum delivery.
• Participating in whole-school activities and enrichment opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) and relevant classroom experience in a UK school (desirable).
• A degree in English, Literature, or a related subject.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• A passion for helping students build skills in analysis, communication, and creative expression.
• A strong team player with good communication skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• A full CV that covers the last 10 years (or your entire work history) with any gaps explained.
