As an Ideal candidate You will be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS and a strong track record in Mathematics teaching.
• An experienced leader with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
• Passionate about Mathematics education and its role in student success.
• Skilled in curriculum development and assessment strategies.

Essential requirements

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

As Head of Faculty (Maths), you will:

• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Mathematics teachers to achieve excellence.
• Drive high-quality teaching and learning across the department.
• Oversee curriculum planning, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners.
• Use data effectively to monitor progress and implement interventions.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes.
• Work closely with senior leaders to align Mathematics with whole-school priorities.
• Lead professional development and mentoring within the department.
• Collaborate with other faculties to support cross-curricular learning.
• Support staff well-being and professional growth within the department.
• Oversee Mathematics-related extra-curricular activities and interventions.
