Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

Role Overview:
As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages. Your role will focus on helping students understand significant historical events, evaluate sources, and draw connections between the past and present.
Responsibilities as a History Teacher:
- Plan and deliver well-structured, curriculum-aligned lessons in History.
- Inspire curiosity and independent thought through engaging content and discussion.
- Assess pupil progress, provide feedback, and support academic achievement.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities.
Requirements for the History Teacher role:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A degree in History or a closely related subject.
- Experience teaching History in a UK school setting.
- Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to inspiring young minds and promoting historical understanding.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
