Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Assess and track student progress in line with national curriculum standards

  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental initiatives

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in History or a related subject

  • Proven experience teaching History at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)

  • Excellent classroom management skills

  • A genuine enthusiasm for the subject and for working with young people
