Are you a passionate and driven Female PE Teacher looking to motivate the next generation of students to lead active, healthy lives? GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE professional to join secondary schools across Sheffield, delivering high-quality physical education to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident leading girls' PE lessons, encourages participation, and promotes a positive attitude towards health, fitness, and wellbeing.

About the Role:
As a Female PE Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons, encouraging physical development and teamwork, and fostering an inclusive and positive environment. You’ll also play a key role in school sports activities and events, both curricular and extracurricular.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured, engaging PE lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

  • Promote active participation, confidence, and teamwork in physical activity.

  • Support extracurricular clubs, school competitions, and sports events.

  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and positive learning space.

  • Tailor support for students with additional needs or barriers to participation.

  • Work collaboratively with other staff members in the PE department and beyond.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (QTS desirable but not essential).

  • Experience teaching or coaching within a secondary school or youth sports setting.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and behaviour management skills.

  • A professional and approachable manner, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.

  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • The right to work in the UK.
