The Role:
Are you passionate about empowering individuals to overcome barriers and achieve meaningful employment? We’re seeking proactive and self-motivated Restart Employment Advisors to join a dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work directly with individuals who face complex challenges, guiding them on their journey towards securing sustainable work and building a brighter future.
Duties:

  • You will manage all interactions with your caseload, meeting all customers face-to-face in the centre.
  • At the first intervention you will complete a comprehensive diagnostic to understand their barriers to employment and their past experience/skills or their learning requirements.
  • You will then refer customers to training courses, workshops, mentoring sessions to break down their barriers to work and help to upskill each customer.
  • You will set SMART targets and review these at each intervention to ensure progression towards securing employment.

Required Skills:

  • You will have extensive experience working with unemployed customers, including managing a fluctuating caseload and working to job entry targets.
  • You will have experience working with customers with multiple barriers to employment, be able to complete in-depth diagnostics and identify a path to help them in to work.
  • You will have previous experience setting SMART targets and be target driven in managing your caseload.
  • You will have empathy and a passion to help others

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if successful in this role.
