Job Title: Mental Health Team Manager
Job Type: Temporary 3 months - Subject to review

This service is staffed 24 hours per day and it's expected that this role is on-site, 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
As the Mental Health Team Manager you will be part of an 'out of hour's service from 17:00 to 09:00 the following day, one week in four currently.
Key Responsibilities of a Mental Health Team Manager

- Support the development and remodelling of services, raising the profile of care and support services
- Develop, deliver and report on team plans for designated service areas to evidence high quality service delivery
- Ensure the company vision and culture are embedded within core areas of responsibility and promoted to enhance the reputation reputation in the market place.
- Lead, develop and manage the performance of the team so that it functions as a cohesive, high performing team, which achieves targets, standards and continuous improvement in service performance
Key Requirements of a Mental Health Team Manager
- In depth knowledge and understanding of mental health, including the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and the care pathways or journey to recovery model
- Substantial experience of managing direct care and support services to people with mental health diagnosis including those with complex needs and forensic histories
- Substantial people management experience and an ability to lead a team
- Detailed understanding of the difficulties faced by vulnerable people with support needs and how those needs may be met
- Car driver needed - Travel over Sheffield area
