We are looking for caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools in Sheffield's S7 area. You'll support children with additional educational needs and play a vital role in helping them thrive inside and outside the classroom.

The Role

  • Deliver one-to-one and small group support for pupils with autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
  • Assist class teachers in adapting lessons and resources.
  • Celebrate children's achievements while promoting confidence and independence.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
  • Help create inclusive and engaging classrooms.

Requirements

  • Experience in schools, youth work or care settings would be an advantage.
  • Empathy, resilience and a patient approach.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Possess an Enhanced child DBS or willingness to get one through Randstad.
  • Eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Commitment to supporting every child.
