Transport Planner Job in Sheffield

New requirement for a Transport Planner job with a well-known consultancy, working from their office in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have had exposure to transport planning in an infrastructure or housebuilder environment and be looking to join a collaborative firm with progression opportunities moving forward.

Founded 30 years ago, this multi-disciplinary consultancy operates nationwide with regional offices located in the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, South West, East Anglia, and London. With a current team of 70, their services cover town planning, architecture, master planning, landscape architecture, and heritage. They are now looking to appoint a Transport Planner who has experience within a similar consultancy or local authority.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Creation of transport assessments and travel plans
  • Assist with transport statements
  • Work with the side teams on site appraisals and access assessments
  • Develop travel plans and junction designs
  • Assist in report writing and analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in Transport Planning, Geography, or Civil Engineering
  • Experience working in a similar position
  • Proficiency in Arcady, Picady, Trics, AutoCAD, and Excel
  • Experience with transport assessments and travel plans
  • Strong communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence and car.
