Our client, a leading consultancy in the highways sector, is currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled Transport Planners to join their expanding Transport Planning & Infrastructure team in Sheffield. As part of a thriving office, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of transport planning projects for public and private sector clients. This is a permanent opportunity for motivated individuals to contribute to significant growth and development within the sector.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site appraisals and site promotion
  • Preparing transport assessments and statements
  • Developing travel plans and sustainable mobility strategies
  • Carrying out junction and network modelling
  • Engaging in development and infrastructure planning
  • Data analysis, forecasting, and reporting
  • Stakeholder engagement and client communication


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in transport planning within the highways sector
  • Good interpersonal communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise projects effectively on a day-to-day basis
  • Motivated and ready to get involved in key projects
  • Commitment to instilling high standards of work and building strong client relationships
