Welder

Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Welder for our client based in Rotherham.

Welder Benefits:

• Rate of pay: 16.33 per hour plus overtime premium
• Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Friday 7am to 12 noon
• Location: Rotherham
• Contract: Temp to Permanent after 12 weeks
• Start date: Immediate

Welder Role:

To ensure success as a Welder, you should have advanced knowledge mild and stainless Steel, a good eye for detail, and excellent mathematical skills. Ultimately, a top-class Welder who expertly constructs high-quality products to exact specifications.

Welder Responsibilities:

• Welding mild and stainless steel
• Reading and interpreting engineering 2D & 3D Drawings.
• Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines.
• Ensuring that all required parts for assembly are present.
• Double-checking design specifications before commencing with work.
• Grinding and finishing completed products.
• Performing quality checks on completed products.
• Conforming to company Health & Safety regulations.
• Completing quality check sheets.

Welder Requirements:

• Previous work experience as a MIG/TIG Welder.
• Previous experience working with mild and stainless steel.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering 2D & 3D Drawings.
• Proficiency with metal fabrication tools.
• Advanced mathematical and engineering skills.
• Ability to lift and manipulate metal objects.
• Able to stand for long periods.
