Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Shefford (Transport Needed)
Salary: £14 per hour
Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm (1hr unpaid lunch)

About the Role:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll take charge of daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role that requires strong leadership and a commitment to maintaining high standards. You’ll work closely with the team, lead by example, and keep the warehouse running like clockwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and support the warehouse team to achieve daily operational goals.
- Oversee the preparation, dispatch, and receipt of stock, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Operate a Counterbalance forklift as needed for loading, unloading, and stock management.
- Ensure inventory is accurately tracked and stock levels are maintained.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Assist in training and developing team members to enhance performance.
- Take a hands-on approach to all tasks, working alongside your team.
About You:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
- Counterbalance and Flexi forklift licence (essential).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Proactive problem-solver with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage.
