Warehouse Operative
Location: Shefford (Transport Needed)
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm (1hr unpaid lunch)
Our client, located in Shefford, is seeking two experienced Warehouse Operatives who are passionate about their work, prioritise delivering exceptional service, and are ready to excel in a new role. These positions are available on a temp-to-perm basis.
The role involves heavy lifting and a variety of warehouse tasks, ensuring efficient inventory management and the timely fulfilment of orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory accurately, including loading/unloading and order fulfilment.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting items for damage and defects.
- Assist with assembly/disassembly of furniture and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Previous proven experience in a Warehouse or Production role.
- Own transport due to location
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and manual tasks.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about what you do.
- Strong team player with attention to detail.
- Exemplary communication skills.
