Location: Shepperton
Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours
Salary: £28,500 - £31,200 per annum

We’re looking for a skilled Fitter to join our manufacturing team. You’ll be responsible for assembling mechanical machines and components using a variety of hand, electric, and air-driven tools. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, teamwork, and a strong understanding of engineering drawings.

• Assemble machines and subassemblies to specification
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings
• Align and position components manually or using hoists
• Conduct quality checks and complete documentation
• Collaborate with design engineers to resolve build issues
• Support other departments when needed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Be available for occasional evening/weekend work

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly
• Basic fabrication skills (drilling, grinding, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
