We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school based in Somerset that are looking for full-time & part-time SEND Learning Support Assistants to join the school from after half term.
The school look after students ages 4-19 with a wide range of special needs & disabilities that include SLD, ASD, ADHD, MLD & Complex Needs. They are a lovely school based in a fantastic location in the countryside!
The role
Due to an increase in student numbers there are naturally always opportunities at the school for new LSA's to join the team on a long-term basis. The school are an incredibly lovely bunch who are all very supportive of each other.
The role of LSA heavily revolves around providing general classroom support wherever necessary. Due to the needs of the students it is imperative that you have had experience working with SEND in some capacity. The school are excitingly open to applications from full-time & part-time members of staff.
