Class 1 Driver

Kenect Recruitment looking for reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our logistics team in Sherburn in Elmet. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across regional and national routes, working with a modern fleet and supported by a friendly transport team.

Class 1 Driver Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects

• Ensure loads are secured and paperwork is completed accurately

• Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism

• Adhere to UK driving regulations, Working Time Directive, and company policies

Class 1 Driver Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 experience preferred (flexible depending on contract)

• Good communication skills and a professional attitude

• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, IN, or DD endorsements)

Class 1 Driver Shift Patterns Available

• AFTERNOONS Monday - Friday / Sunday - Thursday1PM START
