Class 2 Driver

Lerwick (Shetland Islands) 

£35k - £37k DOE + Overtime

Monday - Friday (40 hour working week)

Role Overview:

Our well-established client are looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver to join their already flourishing team!

You will be delivering fuel to various locations across the island. As a driver you will be representing the company first hand, by being at the forefront of the business. Therefore, the successful candidate will need excellent customer service understanding, paired with the ability and competency on the driving and operating side. 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the vehicle safely and effectively on the road as well as on site

  • Undertaking daily vehicle checks ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy

  • Maintain a successful delivery rate adhering to ETA's

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork

  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and colleagues

  • Have a flexible approach to work 

Requirements:

  • Valid class 2 licence

  • Up to date CPC

  • Tachograph card

  • Flexible and reliable with a good attitude

  • Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
