Chef

We are looking to appoint a new Cook/chef to work across our Nursing Homes in the Shipley Are - We have two kitchens within one Home and another Home a 4 minute walk away.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in catering, and will be trained to NVQ or equivalent standard. You will take pride in providing a first-class quality menu, taking responsibility for ensuring that all meals are nutritionally balanced and of the highest standard.

40 Hours per week. All offers will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and references.

Job Duties:

Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
Weekley food orders/ audits
Additional Duties:

Menu planning

Pay: 14.54 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
