Key Responsibilities

Interpret 3D models and generate CNC part programs using CAM systems

Create, simulate, and validate CNC programs using post processors and prove-out tools

Use software such as Vericut, Veriprog, and Mazak Smooth to ensure programs are production-ready

Prepare setup sheets and documentation for production teams

Collaborate with internal teams to improve tooling, processes, and overall machining efficiency

Maintain safe working practices in line with machine safety standards
Essential Skills and Experience

Proficient in offline and online CNC programming

Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and setup practices

Experience using 3D CAD/CAM software and simulation tools

Competent in using Siemens NX or similar CAM platforms

Familiarity with software including Vericut, Veriprog, and Mazak Smooth

Solid understanding of CNC machine safety standards

Formal qualification in mechanical engineering (minimum Level 3 or equivalent)

Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
