Salary: £160–£230 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)
Contract Type: Full-time, Ongoing (with planning and preparation responsibilities)
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Solihull (B90) is seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role with full classroom teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, delivery, marking, and assessment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and nurturing teacher to make a real impact in a Key Stage 1 setting, within a school that prioritises high standards, collaboration, and pupil well-being.
Key Responsibilities:-
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum

Take full responsibility for the class, including planning, preparation, marking, assessment, and reporting

Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that promotes confidence and independence

Use a range of assessments to monitor progress and inform future teaching

Work closely with year group colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders

Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support each child’s development

Attend staff meetings, year group planning, and CPD sessions

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1 or Year 2

Strong understanding of early literacy, numeracy, and phonics development

High expectations for behaviour and learning

Reflective, organised, and passionate about teaching

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
