Description
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with payment runs and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve invoice queries.
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Monitor and respond to vendor communications effectively.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the AP function.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role within the accounting & finance field.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills to address invoice discrepancies efficiently.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
