We are seeking Secondary Supply Teachers to join our team at Reed on a temporary, ad hoc basis. This role involves covering lessons in a range of schools across Surrey and West Sussex, covering both pre-prepared and subject-specific lessons. Ideal candidates will have strong behaviour management skills and a keen awareness of safeguarding practices.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Cover lessons across various subjects, ensuring continuity of education in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Adapt quickly to different educational environments and uphold school policies.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure a constructive learning atmosphere.
  • Implement safeguarding measures and promote a safe learning environment.
  • Provide feedback on student performance and any significant incidents to the regular teaching staff and school administration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in teaching at the secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and behavioural management skills.
  • Awareness of current safeguarding and welfare requirements.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
