We are looking for a site operative to work for a family run business who are a leading supplier of agriculture feed who and who import and export internationally
The role is varied and hands-on and will support the site manager with all the daily operations.
- Main Duties:
Dealing with incoming cargo of product and taking samples of the feed for quality before loading into storage tanks.
Overseeing the intake process and liaising with drivers.
Completing crop quality tests and recording the captured data onto the database system for the quality control process.
Assist with the ship loading operation
Full training is provided
- About You:
?The role is fairly active, with some manual handling, time on your feet, the site is open air and there will be some working from height.
You will be Enthusiastic and practically minded,
You will have relevant background experience in logistics operations, another comparable industry
A fork-lift truck license or experience of using a fork-lift would be preferred, although refresher training can be arranged.
