Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Shoreham-by-Sea

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and caring LSAs to join our client mainstream primary school in Shoreham-by-Sea. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential support to pupils and contribute to their educational journey in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The school is dedicated to fostering a positive and nurturing setting where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Contract Details:

  • Location: Shoreham-by-Sea (West Sussex)

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract Type: Full-time

  • Pay Rate: Minimum 13.96 per hour

  • Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A patient and nurturing approach to supporting young learners.

  • Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

  • Enthusiasm for creating a fun and engaging learning environment.

  • A willingness to adapt and support pupils with different learning needs.

  • Self-reflective, with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn.

  • Experience supporting children in an educational setting is desirable.

Eligibility:

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Provide two professional child-related references.
