Are you an Accountancy and Finance Graduate or studying for your AAT and perhaps looking to pursue a career path within taxation?

The Company

Seymour John have been retained by our client based in Shrewsbury to secure a Tax Associate for their growing business based in Shrewsbury.

The Opportunity

You will assist in the preparation of tax returns, provide support in tax compliance, and perform research on various tax issues, with your key responsibilities to include:

  • Assist in preparing tax returns
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations by maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant tax law and legislation
  • Conduct research on simple / basic tax issues and assist with research projects
  • Assist in gathering information and documentation from clients as needed for tax preparation and planning
  • Identify areas for improvement in tax processes and implement best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Personal Profile

We are looking to speak to candidates who have at least 6 months' practical experience with an understanding of tax regulations within the UK or US. Perhaps you are working for an accountancy firm at present or have competed an internship where you have been responsible for tax returns.
