• Deliver bespoke tax advice across areas such as inheritance tax, trusts, capital gains tax, and residency matters
• Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, building long-term relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
• Stay ahead of changes in tax legislation and provide forward-thinking solutions to help clients prepare for the future
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including accounts and audit, to deliver integrated, strategic advice
• Support and mentor junior colleagues, promoting technical development and a culture of continuous learning
• Provide clear, commercially sound recommendations in client meetings and written reports
• Contribute to the firm’s growth by identifying opportunities for further advisory support

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in private client tax advisory within an accountancy practice
• STEP or CTA qualified
• Strong technical expertise in IHT, CGT, trust taxation, and residency issues
• Confident communicator who can engage clients with empathy, clarity, and authority
• Self-motivated and driven, with a proactive approach to client service
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail
• A team player who collaborates well across departments to provide holistic client solutions
