Administration Officer

Opus People Solutions are recruiting for temporary Administration Officer on behalf on Shropshire Council to support with essential administrative tasks.

Your main duties for this role would be to attend Face to Face meetings in the County of Shropshire and provide the required administrative support like; preparation of documents such as invitations and agendas for meetings, recording minutes of meetings including child protection conferences, and routine follow-up actions, including the distribution of minutes within required timeframes. Initial Conference & Receiving In Conference Invites, setting up & prepping for Initial, Review & Receiving In Conferences IRU CP Inbox (Multiple Daily): Uploading reports for conferences, adding temporary CP children onto LCS, answering various questions and requests from SW, Chair, TM's & Agencies, Forwarding on emails to relevant teams (Annex C,H,F, Notification of placement etc). Daily IRU meetings to address issues or queries, answering calls from Chairs/SW/TM, and handling duty phones.

The right candidate must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle. We are looking for someone with a high standard of administrative skills, including high level of proficiency in word processing/keyboard skills, ability to prioritize workload, to meet deadlines and to conform to administrative requirements.
