Test & Commissioning Engineer x2

£37,00 - £40,000 + Early Finish Friday + Overtime

Travel 30%-50% UK & Worldwide

Technician - Test & Validation - The Role:

  • Test and validation of machinery and equipment in-house and worldwide customer locations

  • System software commissioning & generation (Robot, PLC and Kepware code)

  • System fault finding and diagnostics

  • Fault rectification

  • Conducting system wide test and Inspection

  • Set-up of in-house system software and industrial PCs

  • Conduct customer training

  • Development of Robot and PLC software (Drives, Mechanical Controls) 

  • Modification of engineering drawings to support system build and to improve quality

  • Writing procedures and plans

  • Completion of technical documentation including test plans and training modules

  • Remote customer support - fault finding and diagnostics

  • Be familiar with Risk Assessment and typical Health and Safety Issues in the workplace

Technician - Test & Validation - The Person:

  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings.

  • ‘Hands-on’ experience in building electrical and mechanical equipment

  • Professional manner with good communication skills. Able to represent the company to a high standard

  • Flexible manner to adopt new challenges and input from peers and colleagues

  • Full, clean driving licence & Passport

Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
