Jam Staffing Solutions are recruitng for a Despatch Team Leader for a PVC Manufacturer in Shrewsbury.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and organise daily delivery schedules alongside the Despatch Supervisor.
- Lead and oversee the loading of vans, ensuring correct prioritisation of products and efficient space utilisation.
- Oversee the picking, packing, and preparation of extras and ancillaries.
- Carry out spot checks on delivery vans and ensure ongoing cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.
- Maintain strong goods-in and despatch organisation, ensuring products are stored correctly.
- Assist with and learn elements of the manufacturing process (full training provided).
Ideal Candidate
- Physically fit and comfortable in a manual, hands-on environment.
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience (preferred).
- Good IT proficiency for scheduling, stock checks, and reporting.
- A valid driving licence.
- Strong mentality, reliability, and confidence in decision-making.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Pay: 12.83
Shift: 07:00-15:30 Monday-Friday
