What You'll Do:

As a Contracts Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering an annual investment plan across the property portfolio, ensuring that all works meet the Decent Homes Standard. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Investments Manager to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and with high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Acting as the Principal Designer under CDM Regulations, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Managing a team of four key colleagues and overseeing budgets to ensure effective delivery and quality of work.
  • Maintaining the Group's Asset Management database, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry and building regulations.
  • Experience in contract management and a variety of contract types (e.g., NEC, JCT).
  • A commitment to quality and customer-focused service.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Building Maintenance/Construction or equivalent.
  • Professional qualification (or working towards) e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
  • BOHS P405 Managing Asbestos in Buildings and NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
