Your new companyYou will be joining an industry-leading main contractor based in Worcestershire operating in the water industry. This multi-accredited contractor specialises in delivering clean water infrastructure solutions for major water providers and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. They have a strong pipeline of work with Severn Trent and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Construction Manager to join their delivery team.

This is a full-time permanent position based on their site in Shrewsbury.

Your new roleAs Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing all day-to-day site operations on clean water infrastructure projects
  • Undertaking site audits and ensuring work is carried out in compliance with water industry regulations and safety standards
  • Liaising with the client, local authorities and key project stakeholders
  • Supervising and managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Providing regular reports to senior management
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely within budget and to programme.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Previous construction/site management experience within the water industry, ideally on clean water infrastructure projects
  • CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
