What You'll Be Doing:Join our team as an Associate Practitioner in Histology and contribute to high-quality diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the processing, embedding, and sectioning of tissue samples for histological analysis

  • Supporting the use of staining techniques and microscopy under supervision

  • Ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols and quality control measures

  • Working alongside Biomedical Scientists and other lab professionals to support patient care

  • Maintaining high standards in all laboratory procedures

  • Contributing to the preparation and analysis of samples as required

Requirements & Qualifications:To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Prior NHS laboratory experience (Histology preferred)

  • Experience supporting tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning

  • Awareness of staining techniques and microscopy

  • Full-time availability (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient laboratory services

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The contract is running until October/November, with the potential for renewal based on performance and service needs.
