Progress your career with an internationally recognised leader in commercial explosives and blasting services. We’re looking for an experienced Shotfirer to play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality blasting operations for our customers.What you’ll be doing
  • Carrying out shotfiring duties in line with company standards, regulations, and blast specifications
  • Supporting the delivery of accurate blast designs alongside the Explosives Supervisor
  • Loading, firing, and monitoring blasts, ensuring safety and environmental compliance at all times
  • Being the first point of contact for customers on site, handling queries and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Contributing to risk assessments, safety briefings, and continuous improvements in blasting efficiency
What we’re looking for
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Experience as a Shotfirer in a quarrying environment
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • NVQ in Shotfiring and explosives handling (or equivalent training/experience)
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practice
Additional training in blast design software, explosive products, or drone surveying would be advantageous but not essential.What’s in it for you
