Our client is recruiting for a civil engineer and looking for someone that will work within a multi-disciplinary team with a varied portfolio of infrastructure schemes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships on a day to day basis and provide fee quotes.
- Develop detailed civil engineering designs using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports for construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare transport statements.
- Consult with various authorities.
Skills/qualifications:
- HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
- Hold or be willing to work towards IEng or CEng qualification.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, CDM 2-15
- Experience of S38, S104 and S278 agreements
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
- A full driving licence is required.
