HVAC/AC Installation Engineer
HVAC Engineer
We are seeking a skilled HVAC/AC Installation Engineer with proven experience in installing pipework, refnets, cassettes, and carrying out high-quality brazing and pressure testing. You'll be working on a variety of commercial projects, ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install copper pipework for AC systems, including VRF/VRV and split systems
- Fit and align refnet joints according to manufacturer guidelines
- Install ceiling cassette indoor units and associated pipework
- Carry out clean, professional brazing work on-site
- Perform nitrogen purging during brazing to maintain pipe cleanliness
- Conduct thorough pressure testing and leak detection on all new installations
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
Requirements:
- Proven experience in AC/HVAC installation, including pipework, refnets, and cassettes
- Skilled in brazing with a clean, professional finish
- F-Gas Category 1 certification (or equivalent)
- Experience with VRF/VRV and split system installations
- Ability to conduct safe and accurate pressure testing
3 weeks minimum but room for further work, as multiple projects are becoming AVAILABLE
