My client is a specialist service provider of cranes and hydraulic equipment. They are looking for an Engineer to join their team near Shrewsbury on a permanent basis.
The Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- 3 year or more of experience in a similar Service/Maintenance Engineering position
- Have a background in crane servicing/maintenanceand principles
- Knowledge of electrical engineering
- Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
- The ability to understand system requirements
- Be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Engineer role will involve:
- Provide servicing & maintenance for cranes
- Identifying and rectifying faults on cranes
- Guidance and assistance to customers as required on functional and technical information
- Maintaining working relationships with colleagues and clients
