We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Overhead Crane Service Engineer to join our team in the UK. You will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead crane systems. A strong background in both mechanical and electrical engineering is essential, along with a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
This role is perfect for a Field Service Engineer with a background in cranes or similar, looking to join a successful and well-established company. You'll be part of a respected organisation that values its employees and focuses on staff retention and job satisfaction.
The Role:
- Installation and commissioning of overhead crane systems (UK-wide and occasional overseas trips - e.g. Kuwait & Ireland, a few times per year)
- Scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repairs
- Conduct system upgrades and modifications
- Provide technical support and build strong client relationships
- Complete work reports and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Mon-Thurs 8:00-16:30, Fri 8:00-14:00
The Person:
- Experienced Field Service Engineer or Mechanical Fitter
- Background in cranes, heavy plant, or similar industrial equipment
- Full UK driving licence
